Casual Weekend Outfits for Early Spring
Am I ready to wear my floral strappy dresses? Yes. Does my local weather permit floral strappy dresses? No.
I would love to wear full on spring clothes, but the weather in Maryland hasn’t caught up with my aspirations. Last weekend we had a winter mix and this upcoming weekend the high will be 59 degrees. In an effort to dress for spring and not a catch a cold, I put together some comfortable and casual spring outfit inspiration for these early days of spring. When looking for outfits, I kept in mind three things #1 Coverage (Long Sleeves), #2 Comfort and #3 Color!
Proverbs 31:25 NASB1995: Strength and dignity are her clothing; And she smiles at the future.
1. Purple Quarter Zip (Asos) + Light Denim (Abercrombie & Fitch)
For this look, I started with light denim and paired it with a quarter zip. This outfit is very spring because it is light and bright. It is also very warm.
2. Long Mauve Dress (MissGuided)
For this outfit, no pairing was necessary. One dress. One completed look. It doesn't get much easier than that. I saw this dress the other week and I had to pick it up! Most casual dresses and jumpsuits I’ve seen don’t have long sleeves.
3. Light Blue High Neck Top (Asos) + Dark Blue Ribbed Flare Bottoms (Asos)
Monochrome is a great way to incorporate color in your top and bottom. And color is what we are after this season!
Did you notice that my favorite kind of clothing is a anything with a high neck? Also, apparently my favorite spring colors to wear are blue and purple. Hope that these outfit ideas help you during these early weeks of spring!
Hope your week is filled with faith, focus and fun!
